As President and CEO of Synergy Development and Synergy Construction, Steve Urry recognized an industry-wide need to have full transparency into a company’s day-to-day activities and this was the spark that ignited AVASIS.
Throughout Steve Urry’s impressive 35-year career, he has managed construction and leasing totaling over $2,000,000,000 in transactional volume while representing national retailers in site selection and lease negotiations throughout the United States. In addition, Steve and his companies have developed and built commercial real estate properties, specializing in multi-tenant retail, office properties, residential, and specific “build to suit” projects.
Working day-to-day in this industry, Steve saw an opportunity to develop a construction project management software platform based on his own experience and critical input from other industry veterans, whose real-world experience not only identified flaws in current systems, but generated solutions to address them. From developer to lender to trades, and other stakeholders on the construction spectrum, the AVASIS team has gathered insight and ideas resulting in a software solution that lives up to our motto: Unite The Build.
